Banque Misr Receives a Commemorative Shield from Visa in Recognition of Its Success in Launching a Comprehensive and Diverse Suite of Six Corporate Card Schemes within One Year

Banque Misr has achieved another milestone that reflects its leadership in non-cash payment solutions within the international corporate banking products sector, as the bank received a commemorative shield from Visa for Digital Payments in recognition of its success in launching a diverse portfolio of six corporate card schemes within one year, marking a first among banks operating in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Over the past year, Banque Misr successfully delivered a comprehensive suite of corporate card solutions, including Visa Credit Cards across various tiers (Classic, Platinum, and Signature), offering diverse credit limits tailored to meet the needs of companies of different sizes. The Bank also provided Corporate Debit Cards in Platinum and Signature tiers denominated in Egyptian Pounds, in addition to the Visa Platinum Debit Card denominated in US Dollars.

This recognition comes within the framework of the “Success Partners” agreement signed between Banque Misr and Visa, the global leader in digital payments, which aims to further strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in delivering advanced banking solutions that support digital transformation and create added value for corporate and institutional clients.

The commemorative shield was received by Mr. Hisham Okasha, Chief Executive Officer of Banque Misr, from Ms. Leila Serhan, Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for North Africa, the Levant, and Pakistan at Visa, in the presence of Mr. Hossam Eldin Abdelwahab, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Banque Misr; Mr. Ahmed El Kady, Head of International Corporate and Financial Institutions Products Sector at Banque Misr; and Ms. Malak El Baba, Country Manager for Visa in Egypt, Libya, and Sudan, alongside a number of senior executives from Banque Misr and Visa.
