As part of Banque Misr’s keenness to support the State’s efforts to achieve financial inclusion, and in line with Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development, the Bank has offered numerous free benefits and promotions on “International Women’s Day” under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt.
This comes from the Bank’s belief in the importance of achieving financial inclusion to empower all segments of society to access financial products and services that meet their diverse needs, including savings accounts, current accounts, payment and transfer services, insurance, financing, and credit.
The Bank is keen to offer numerous free benefits and promotions that serve all customers, especially women and youth, who represent the largest segments of society, throughout the event period from 8 to 31 March 2026. These include opening current and savings accounts for individuals with exemption from account opening fees, the minimum balance requirement, and stamp duty charges (for current and savings accounts in Egyptian Pound, conventional and Islamic, Al-Mongez accounts (current and savings, conventional and Islamic), youth accounts, Al-Momken savings account, and Hawalty current account in Egyptian Pound / US Dollar).
These benefits in addition to the possibility of issuing a free Meeza debit card for the accounts and obtaining a Meeza prepaid card exempt from issuance fees. Customers aged 15 to 21 can also open accounts free of charge and obtain a free BM debit card under the youth program. As for Banque Misr’s electronic wallet, BM Wallet, customers will receive a 20% cashback on the first financial transaction; the offer is available only once during the event period for activated wallets, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Banque Misr is considered one of the first banks to contribute to spreading the culture of financial literacy and financial inclusion since the launch of this initiative in Egypt in 2014. The Bank is always keen to participate in the initiatives and campaigns launched by the Central Bank of Egypt, especially the financial inclusion support campaigns, in addition to its continuous support for women through offering a diverse range of financial services, as well as supporting entrepreneurs and owners of micro-enterprises, thereby contributing to supporting the Egyptian economy and improving individuals’ standard of living.
