Loans for finishing / refurbishing housing units

Specifications:

  • The largest loan value, at up to EGP 1.5 million

General Loan Conditions:

  • Monthly income is no less than EGP 3,000
  • Maximum monthly premium does not exceed 40% of monthly income
  • Maximum age upon loan maturation is 65 years for all clients.

Required Documents
Housing unit documents in the event of finishing/refurbishment:

  • In the event that the housing unit is registered:
    • The title to the residential unit, registered at the Real Estate Registry
    • Appraisal from a consultant's office or consulting engineer or Contractor which is undertaking the finishing or refurbishment work
  • In the event that the housing unit is eligible for registration or is unregistered:
    • An deed title that is unregistered at the Real Estate Registry, with a recent utility bill or a certificate from a governmental authority (the electricity company, the water company, etc.) indicating that the contract for the meter is signed by the applicant for funding, to ensure that the finished unit is owned by the client
    • Appraisal from a consultant's office or consulting engineer or Contractor which is undertaking the finishing or refurbishment work

Client documents:

  • Loan application
  • A recent utility bill from the address of the client (electricity, gas, water, telephone), no more than three months old
  • Copy of a valid national ID card

 

Submit one of the following documents

  • Bank statement according to credit policy
  • A certificate from the tax authority identifying the client's income for the last 3 years
  • A certificate from a licensed accountant accredited by the Central Bank of Egypt and included in the list on the official website of the Central Bank of Egypt, or Egyptian Accountants and Auditors Association

 

Liberal professionals are required to submit:

  • A copy of the tax card and a copy of the license to practice the profession

 

Owners of commercial, industrial, or service activities must submit:

  • A copy of a recent official document from the Commercial or Industrial Registry not exceeding three months, a copy of the tax card, and a copy of the latest version of the company's memorandum of association to determine the partner’s share, if any exist

  • In the event that the housing unit is eligible for registration or is unregistered:
    • An deed title that is unregistered at the Real Estate Registry, with a recent utility bill or a certificate from a governmental authority (the electricity company, the water company, etc.) indicating that the contract for the meter is signed by the applicant for funding, to ensure that the finished unit is owned by the client
    • Appraisal from a consultant's office or consulting engineer or contractor which is undertaking the finishing or refurbishment work

  • A recent certificate of income, not exceeding three months
  • Loan application
  • A recent utility bill from the address of the client (electricity, gas, water, telephone), no more than three months old

  • An approved statement by the employer, based on the pre-approved formulation from the bank
