The Banque Misr supports Cairo University Hospitals With an amount of 160 million pounds, and promote the outpatient clinics

The Banque Misr inked a cooperation protocol with Cairo University Hospitals to donate 160 million Egyptian pounds for the expansion of outpatient clinics, the protocol was signed by Prof. Muhammad Al-Tarbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Banque Misr, and Prof. Muhammad Al-Kasht, President of Cairo University on 4 June 2023. The signing was witnessed by Dr. Manal Al-Masri, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University, and Dr. Hossam Salah, Executive Director of Cairo University Hospitals, along with the leadership of the bank and university. This signature reflects the Bank's intention to contribute to the enhancement of medical and therapeutic services offered by Cairo University Hospitals for the benefit of hospital patients.

 

As this medical facility serves tens of thousands of patients, the protocol seeks to modernize all outpatient clinics in accordance with contemporary health codes and to incorporate the services that patients require. In conjunction with the signature of the protocol, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Khasht presented Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of Banque Misr's Board of Directors, with the Cairo University Shield in recognition of his pioneering support of university hospitals.

 

This is consistent with Banque Misr's pioneering role in social responsibility, as it is one of the pillars of attaining sustainable development, projects for breadwinner women in the most impoverished villages contribute to the comprehensive development of all sectors of society, including health, education, culture, work, and the environment, and everything associated with human development. The health sector is one of the most influential sectors in individual lives.

 

It is important to note that Cairo University hospitals are among the largest hospitals in Egypt and the Middle East, serving millions of patients annually in a variety of medical specialties, and have the most qualified physicians, nurses, and administrators. In addition to establishing the best health, educational, and research standards for the faculty and students of the faculties of medicine, dentistry, and nursing, the hospitals of Cairo University support the Egyptian government's objectives to provide the best health care for Egyptian citizens. As a result, it has undergone extensive development and modernization processes at all levels in recent years to provide patients with free, high-quality medical services. In addition to the new National Cancer Institute 500 500 and the Breast Cancer Hospital in the assembly, and the development of Al-Fransawy and Students Hospital, the Cairo University Hospitals Development Project consists of Kasr Al-Aini Hospitals, Abu Al-Rish Al-Munira and Al-Yapani Children's Hospitals, the new medical complex at the International University, the Dental Hospital, Al-Manyal Specialist Hospital, the National Cancer Institute, and the Thabet Thabet Hospital for the treatment of endemic diseases.
