Banque Misr recently signed a cooperation protocol with Ain Shams University Hospitals to donate approximately 110 million Egyptian Pounds to support the Integrated Care Wing at Demerdash Hospital. The capacity of the integrated care wing is 31 beds, and this development is part of the Ain Shams University Medical City project. The protocol was signed by Mr. Mohamed Al Atreby, Chairman of Board of Directors of Banque Misr, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al Metini, President of Ain Shams University, on Monday, June 12, 2023. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Fatma Al Joly, Head of the Communications Sector at Banque Misr, and Prof. Dr. Ali Al Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Tarek Youssef, the Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, Prof. Dr. Essam Fakhry, Professor of Surgery and Director of Demerdash Hospital, in addition to several bank executives. This signing is part of the bank's commitment to enhancing the quality of medical and healthcare services provided by the Integrated Care Wing at Demerdash Hospital, which is part of Ain Shams University Hospitals.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al Metini praised Banque Misr's continuous support for Ain Shams University Hospitals and the medical sector of the university in general, which has made a real breakthrough in providing healthcare to those in need. He emphasized that university hospitals serve as the actual educational foundation for medical generations.
