In line with Banque Misr's pioneering role in corporate social responsibility and eagerness to assist the most vulnerable Egyptian households amid the present extraordinary circumstances, the Bank distributed more than 126 thousand food cartons to families in need, partnering with numerous civil society bodies like the Tahya Misr Fund, Egyptian Food Bank, Misr El-Khair Foundation, Orman Association, El-Zahrawan Foundation, El-Joud Foundation, Kheir w Baraka Foundation and the New Woman Foundation.

This comes as part of Banque Misr's commitment to supporting underprivileged Egyptian families across the nation's governorates by contributing to the Carton of Goodness campaign. The campaign provides food cartons to households that need assistance during this time of soaring prices and economic challenges affecting people's livelihoods. Given the surrounding economic conditions, it aims to ease the burden on Egyptian families.

The Bank was keen to involve its employees in the "Elkheir Box" through individual voluntary efforts like packing and distributing cartons to underprivileged families across governorates. The employees also partnered with the Banque Misr Foundation for Community Development to prepare around 3,500 food cartons to help families in need.

The Bank always seeks to promote partnerships between all sectors of Egyptian society by providing a successful model for making tangible contributions towards achieving sustainable development to raise living standards for the less fortunate.
