Owing to Banque Misr's constant strive to provide all that is innovative to meet the needs of its various customer segments and to provide differentiated banking services, the Bank has recently launched "Dawli" scheme for Egyptians residing in the United Arab Emirates, in order to allow them to easily and conveniently manage their accounts in both Egypt and the UAE. The Bank provided a call center channel to ensure the speedy reception of calls, together with a suite of benefits offered by the Bank to its customers by virtue of this new scheme.
Banque Misr customers residing in the UAE are now able to access a number of benefits through the "Dawli" scheme, via the Bank's branches in the Arab Republic of Egypt, such as obtaining a free instant discount card as well as additional cards for family members in Egypt as per established prices, in addition to obtaining the first check on a complimentary basis with the possibility of sending it to the UAE; and a free pre-paid card to facilitate the receipt of remittances from the UAE. Customers are also able to perform their transactions and follow up their accounts via the online banking service and BM Online mobile application; as well as obtain a real estate financing loan of up to 10 years at an exclusive interest rate and reduced expenses, while also benefiting from an exceptional interest rate on foreign currency transferred from abroad by purchasing "Biladi" certificates in foreign currencies.
The advantages of the "Dawli" scheme are not limited to those provided via the Bank's branches in Egypt, but extend to include other benefits offered through Banque Misr's UAE branches; such as enabling customers to issue and renew their debit cards instantly and for free and obtain their first check book on a complimentary basis. This is in addition to obtaining a new account with a special interest rate of 1% at a minimum of AED 10,000 or a monthly salary transfer of no less than AED 10,000; as well as exemption from transfer fees to any Banque Misr account and the ability to perform 4 cash withdrawals from any ATM in the UAE for free.
