Today, Banque Misr re-issued the new “Talaat Harb” savings certificate, which is a fixed-rate certificate of 18% annually. Certificate tenor extends to one year and the return is paid monthly. Certificate tenor is calculated on the business day following the date of purchase and the certificate is issued in EGP 1,000 and its multiples, for natural persons or minors. Moreover, it is possible to obtain facilities against the certificate, as well as acquire credit cards; and the certificate may be redeemed after 6 months from the business day following date of issuance (issuance date).

Certificates may be purchased from any Banque Misr branch – which number more than 750 throughout Egypt – as the Bank constantly seeks to accommodate its customers and fulfil their needs and requirements, while continuously developing its current savings offerings and updating its services as required.
