Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service created by Apple Inc. that allows users to make payments in person, in iOS apps, and on the web using Safari. Launched in October 2014, Apple Pay enables users to store their credit and debit card information securely on their Apple devices, such as iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Macs.

The first card added will be default, however this can be modified if you followed the below steps:

Step 1: Open Wallet

Step 2: Touch and hold your finger on the card that you want to make the default.

Step 3: Drag the card to the front of the cards in the Apple Pay section

In case of iPad: Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay> Tap Default Card >Choose a new card
