In line with supporting the Egyptian state's efforts to modernize government services and advance digital transformation, Counsellor Mahmoud Helmy El-Sherif, Minister of Justice, Mr. Hisham Okasha, CEO of Banque Misr, and Dr. Khaled Atrees, Head of the Legal Sector at Banque Misr, witnessed the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation protocol between Banque Misr and the Ministry of Justice.

The agreement allows the provision of Real Estate Registration and Notarization services directly to Banque Misr clients inside selected bank branches, delivering a faster and more seamless customer experience. The signing took place on Sunday, July 19, 2026. It was executed by Counsellor Hisham Abdel-Mageed, Assistant Minister of Justice for the Real Estate Registration and Notarization Sectors, and Mr. Mohsen Darwish, Head of the Branch Sector at Banque Misr.

The signing of this protocol aligns with the strategic plan of the State and the Ministry of Justice to simplify administrative procedures for citizens by fostering partnerships across various national sectors—foremost of which is the banking industry. This initiative expands the service outlets of the Real Estate Registration and Notarization Authority across designated bank branches, enabling customers to complete notarization procedures linked to their banking transactions with ease.

The service will be rolled out gradually across a select network of Banque Misr branches, starting with the 90th Street Branch in Fifth Settlement as the initial phase, followed by a phased expansion into additional branches in accordance with an agreed-upon implementation plan.

Counsellor Mahmoud Helmy El-Sherif, Minister of Justice, stated that this protocol forms part of the state’s strategy to overhaul the government service ecosystem, facilitate public access by broadening the reach of notary and registration outlets, and deepen collaboration across various state entities. His Excellency added that partnering with Banque Misr—as one of the largest national banks boasting an extensive nationwide presence—exemplifies effective integration among state institutions. He highlighted that this cooperation contributes to delivering notarization services more swiftly and conveniently, aligning with state efforts toward digital transformation and enhancing the overall quality of public services.

For his part, Mr. Hisham Okasha, CEO of Banque Misr, emphasized that this strategic partnership marks a significant milestone toward enhancing service integration for the bank’s clients. By offering Real Estate Registration and Notarization services directly within designated branches, the bank will save clients time and effort, streamline administrative procedures, and provide a more agile and convenient service experience, all while supporting national initiatives to modernize public services.

Okasha added that this initiative reflects Banque Misr's steadfast commitment to supporting Egypt Vision 2030 and its digital transformation agenda by building smart service systems that save time and deliver innovative solutions tailored to evolving customer needs.

He highlighted that this collaboration serves as a stellar model of synergy between state institutions and the banking sector, underscoring Banque Misr's dedication to leveraging its expansive branch network to offer value-added services that elevate customer satisfaction and meet their growing expectations.

Banque Misr remains dedicated to launching initiatives and delivering services that align with customer needs and fulfil their aspirations.
