In line with Banque Misr's commitment to supporting the State's efforts in achieving financial inclusion, and consistent with Egypt Vision 2030 for achieving sustainable development, the bank has introduced numerous free benefits and offers to mark "World Savings Day" under the patronage of the Central Bank of Egypt. This initiative underscores the bank's belief in the importance of financial inclusion, which aims to enable all segments of society to access financial products and services that meet their diverse needs, including savings accounts, current accounts, payment and transfer services, insurance, financing, and credit.
The bank is dedicated to providing various free benefits and offers that cater to all customers, particularly women and youth, given their status as the largest segment of society. These offers are valid throughout the event period, which runs from October 15 to 31, 2025. The benefits include opening Current and Savings Accounts (for individuals) with exemption from account opening fees, the minimum account opening balance, and stamp duty fees. This applies to: Standard and Islamic current and savings accounts in Egyptian Pounds, Al-Munjiz accounts (Standard and Islamic current and savings), Youth accounts, Al-Mumkin Savings Account, and Hawalaty Current Account in EGP / USD. Furthermore, customers will have the possibility of issuing a Meeza instant debit card for accounts free of charge, and obtaining a Meeza prepaid card exempted from issuance fees. Specifically, customers aged 15 to 21 years can open accounts for free and issue a BM instant debit card for free as part of the Youth Program.
Banque Misr employees will also be present outside the branches in many gathering locations across the Arab Republic of Egypt during the event period to promote the bank's products and services.
Banque Misr is recognized as one of the pioneering banks that has contributed to financial education and inclusion since its launch in Egypt in 2014. The bank consistently participates in all initiatives and campaigns launched by the Central Bank of Egypt, particularly those supporting financial inclusion. It also supports women by offering diverse financial services and backing entrepreneurs with micro-projects, all of which contribute significantly to bolstering the Egyptian economy and improving the standard of living for individuals.
