As part of its leading national role and continued commitment to supporting the efforts of the Egyptian state and the Central Bank of Egypt to serve Egyptians abroad, Banque Misr has signed a cooperation protocol to participate in the “Update Your Data in Egypt” initiative.
The Central Bank of Egypt launched the initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates during the seventh edition of the Egyptians Abroad Conference. It aims to provide Egyptians living overseas with easier access to banking services through secure, convenient and innovative solutions.

“Through this initiative, customers will be able to update their personal data without the need to travel to Egypt, in cooperation with Egyptian embassies and consulates in several countries. This is fully aligned with Egypt’s vision for digital transformation and its efforts to deliver more accessible and efficient public and financial services.”
Mr. Okasha added: “The initiative represents an important step toward strengthening the relationship between Egyptians abroad and Egypt’s banking sector by providing more convenient and flexible banking services. It will also support sustained engagement with Egyptians around the world. Continuing to develop digital banking services and supporting the State’s objectives for digital transformation and sustainable development remain key pillars of Banque Misr’s strategy.”
