Under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the First Arab Military Equestrian Championship was launched on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, at the Equestrian Club in the Egypt International Olympic City in the New Administrative Capital. The press conference announcing the event was held in the presence of Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Major General Ihab Lotfy, Director of the Armored Vehicles Department, and other dignitaries. 

Banque Misr sponsors the championship as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting Egyptian sports. Dr. Fatma ElGoully, Chief of Corporate Communication, represented the bank along with representatives of other sponsoring entities and participating Arab nations.

Viewing its sponsorship as a continuation of its pioneering role in corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, Banque Misr prioritizes health, education, and youth in its mission for national progress. It has also established a charitable fund supporting champion Egyptian athletes striving for remarkable performances in Arab, African, and global competitions.
