Within the framework of Banque Misr's leading role in supporting Egyptian sports and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Banque Misr signed a sponsorship contract for the Tennis Federation for the fourth consecutive season. The contract was signed by Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of Banque Misr, and signed on behalf of the Egyptian Tennis Federation by Mr. Ismail El Shafei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Tennis Federation, within the framework of the bank's keenness to support Egyptian sports and to emphasize the bank's role in social responsibility represented in supporting Egyptian youth who strive to raise Egypt's name in regional and international tournaments and forums.

Banque Misr's sponsorship of the Egyptian Tennis Federation comes within the framework of the bank's awareness of the importance of supporting Egyptian sports, which is one of the axes of social responsibility that the bank believes in, focusing on the fields of health, education, and sports. The field of youth and sports is one of the most important main axes supported by the bank due to the importance of practicing sports and the value that sport represents for young people, "a healthy mind in a healthy body." Youth are the leading nucleus of the country's progress, and based on the belief in the importance of supporting young people for progress in all areas, Banque Misr seeks to provide a positive model to be followed in social responsibility.

In this context, Banque Misr recently sponsored the Egyptian Federation for Sports for Players with Cerebral Palsy. This comes out of Banque Misr's keenness to support sports and people of determination by supporting players with cerebral palsy who strive to raise Egypt's name in tournaments, as well as sponsoring professional players in the game of tennis to qualify them to participate in various tournaments locally and internationally. The bank recently announced the launch of the first charitable investment fund, "Egyptian Sports Fund," which aims to support the renaissance of Egyptian sports and restore its position while placing it on the global sports map.

The bank is always keen to encourage partnerships between the different sectors of the Egyptian society, governmental, private, and private, by providing a successful model in society that is later circulated at all levels and sectors. This is in order to contribute effectively and truly to the development and renaissance of society.
