Banque Misr offers various free benefits and promotions, on the financial inclusion's event on the ''International Day of Persons with Disabilities'' under the auspices of The Central Bank of Egypt. This aligns with Banque Misr's keenness on supporting the state's efforts to achieve financial inclusion and in accordance with Egypt Vision 2030.
For Banque Misr believes in the importance of financial inclusion that aims to enable all segments of the society to reach financial products and services that meet their different needs. Banque Misr is keen to providing various free benefits and promotions that serve all segments of clients especially women, youth, persons with disabilities and farmers. The offer stands throughout the duration of the event that takes place from 1 December to 15 December 2024.
On the occasion of ''International Day of Persons with Disabilities''; Banque Misr offers a range of financial products and services with free benefits and promotions; some of which are opening accounts for new customers without fees nor minimum opening account balance requirement and also acquiring Meeza Debit Card without issuing fees. Moreover, opening ''Al Mongez current account and ''Al Mongez saving account'' for economic activities are free of opening new accounts' charges and are without minimum opening account balance, also Meeza Debit cards that are linked to Al Mongez economic activities' accounts are exempted from issuing fees. When subscribing to BM Wallet and activating it, 20% of the first financial procedures will be redeemed during the activation according to the terms and conditions governing it.
Banque Misr makes more other benefits and promotions as issuing TEENS pre-paid card, that is a part of BM Youth World program, to customers under the age of 16, also issuing BM card free of charge to customers from the age of 16 to 21 without requiring parental consent. In addition to, the availability to open youth accounts to customers from the age of 21 to the age of 35 along with issuing Go Debit Card free of charge. The mentioned accounts and cards included in the Youth World program are available in all the bank's branches as the bank makes various benefits to its customers. In case of acquiring a Personal Loan / Murabha by Wakala from the bank, there will be an exemption from issuing fees for credit cards. Furthermore, Banque Misr's employees will be promoting the bank's products and services in universities, sports' clubs and youth centres throughout the event's duration.
Banque Misr launches Al-Momken program to facilitate acquiring banking products and services for the persons with disabilities through a special banking experience. It comes in accordance with the state's orientation and the Central Bank of Egypt's initiative to empower persons with disabilities and enhance their social participation, and facilitate the obstacles they may encounter for they are effective members in the society.
The launch of ''Al-Momken'' program reflects the bank's support to the state's efforts to achieve financial inclusion. As the program offers two saving accounts in the bank, the first under the name ''Al-Momken Saving Account with a Special Interest Rate'' which is available in all bank's branches all over the country. The second is under the name ''Al-Momken Investment Saving Account with a Special Interest Rate'', which is available in all Banque Misr's branch network for Islamic transactions ''Kenana''. The two accounts are distinguished by 1% higher interest rate than the highest interest rate given by any other saving account in Banque Misr. A free debit card for the account's transactions is also granted, it can be used through the ATM machines spread throughout the country and can be used also through shopping outlets, that in addition to exemptions and reductions on some expenses of loans / financing Islamic products.
Al-Momken program facilitates obtaining banking services and products for ''persons of determination'' customers, as the number of branches prepared to receive people of determination customers have reached 248 branch throughout the republic. The branches are equipped with wheelchairs ramp and wheelchairs' service, in order to provide the customers with the necessary means of comfort. Preparations for such ramps are in the process of being provided in the bank's branches.
Banque Misr has also provided more ATM machines specialised for people of determination who suffer visual and moving difficulties. For the number of ATM machines specialised for people of determination with moving difficulty (using wheelchairs) have reached 200. Moreover, the number of ATM machines serving people of determination with visual difficulty have reached 1527.
Sign language is being used in the bank to provide explanations about the bank's services to people of determination who suffer difficulty in hearing. As well as vocal explanations of the products to people of determination who suffer visual difficulty in order to provide them with convenient banking operations. In addition to facilitating their presence in the branches by serving them in a faster manner.
In cooperation with the Egyptian Banking Institute, Al-Momken program includes ''Shawer'' initiative, serving customers with hearing difficulties and facilitating the obstacles facing them, through a specialised team trained to use sign language in both customer service and reception departments. As a first stage, the initiative is applicable throughout 359 branches in different governorates and will soon be applicable in the rest of the branches. Furthermore, trained personnel from customer service are present to deal with people of determination customers in about 358 branches in different governorates.
Banque Misr is eager to enhance its special services that serve different segments of the society, and offers services and products that meet the needs of all customers. For the bank works on facilitating all obstacles that may encounter people of determination and customers with distinguished capabilities, through providing them with a special banking experience as they are inseparable of the society.
