Banque Misr Actively Participates in International Youth Day, Offering Numerous Free Benefits and Promotions to Support Financial Inclusion Under the Auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt

In line with Banque Misr's commitment to supporting the state's efforts in achieving financial inclusion and aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development, the bank is offering numerous free benefits and promotions to commemorate International Youth Day under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt. This initiative stems from the bank's belief in the importance of financial inclusion, which aims to enable all segments of society to access financial products and services that meet their diverse needs. These include savings accounts, current accounts, payment and transfer services, insurance, financing, and credit. The bank is keen on providing a wide range of free benefits and offers that serve all customers, particularly women and youth, as they represent the largest segments of society. These promotions will be available throughout the event period from August 1 to August 15, 2024.

Banque Misr is offering a variety of financial products and services with free benefits and promotions in honor of International Youth Day, including:

            Opening accounts for new customers without fees and without a minimum balance requirement.

            Issuing prepaid Meeza cards free of charge.

            Opening current and savings accounts for economic activities ("Al Mongez" accounts) with waived account opening fees and no minimum balance requirement.

            Exemptions on Meeza instant debit cards associated with "Al Mongez" accounts.

            A 20% cashback on the initial financial transaction for customers who subscribe to and activate the BM Wallet during this period (subject to applicable terms and conditions)

The bank is also offering several other benefits and promotions, including:

            Issuing the TEENS prepaid card as part of the youth program for customers under 16 years old.

            Issuing a free BM card for customers aged 16 to 21 years.

            Opening accounts for free without requiring guardian approval.

            Opening youth accounts for customers aged 21 to 35 years with the issuance of a free GO card.

These accounts and cards are part of the youth program available at all bank branches, offering numerous benefits to customers. Additionally, customers will be exempt from credit card issuance fees when obtaining a personal loan or Murabaha by proxy from the bank. Throughout the event period, bank employees will be stationed outside branches in various locations across all governorates, such as universities, schools, sports clubs, youth centers, shopping malls, and other gathering places, to promote the bank's products and services.

 

Banque Misr has been a pioneer in financial education and inclusion since its launch in Egypt in 2014 under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt. The bank has adopted several programs aimed at financial education and inclusion, including support for small and medium enterprise owners through the "NilePreneurs" initiative, also under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt. The bank is working at full capacity to develop and introduce banking products that cater to all age groups and align with current technological advancements. This effort aims to meet customer aspirations while considering the needs of all segments of society to achieve comprehensive financial inclusion.
