Banque Misr , announced today the re-issue of its new savings certificate, "Talaat Harb." The certificate has a term of one year and offers a fixed interest rate of 27% per Year, payable at maturity. Alternatively, the interest can be paid monthly at a rate of 23.5% 

The certificate is available in denominations starting from EGP 1,000 and is open to natural persons, Egyptian and foreign. The term begins on the business day following purchase.

Certificates can be purchased starting from Friday, January 5, 2024, through the bank's online and mobile banking platform BM online and Banque Misr ATMs ,The certificate will be activated on the following business day, Monday, January 8, 2024. Certificates can also be purchased at any of the bank's more than 800 branches and banking units across Egypt, starting from January 8, 2024.

The certificate can be used as collateral for loans and to issue credit cards. It can be redeemed after six months from the date of purchase, according to the bank's redemption rules and terms and conditions.
